Although it had features and behavior similar to modern-day hyenas, Hyaenodon actually wasn’t related to hyenas at all, and was a member of a now-extinct group of carnivorous mammals called the “creodonts”! Like all prehistoric creatures made for the PaleoVentures lines, this creature is brought to life in a cute and simplified appearance.
