As someone who grew up with a trove of knowledge on dinosaurs and prehistoric life, Khik Weng Wah is a person with big dreams. His journey did not begin with the founding of Paleo-Ventures, but way further, back when he was at elementary school. In 2006, at the age of 10, Khik and a group of his classmates joined a scientific career folio competition, contributing his love for paleontology to his school's project entry. This point is where the dream began.
An avid figure collector and pop culture fan, Khik later ventured into multimedia and 3D modelling, and these laid the foundations to the birth of the Paleo-Ventures line, envisioned to be a toy line suitable for children and collectors. He takes inspirations from the Halftoys Half-Dino line and Good Smile Company's Nendoroid line for the visual style and collectability of the Paleo-Ventures line. His paleontology passion also ensures that lesser-known prehistoric animals would get the same amount of popularity as their more famous counterparts through the Paleo-Ventures line.
