Studies of the nasal openings on Cryptoclidus’ skull led to the suggestion that it had a sharp sense of smell; being able to detect odours and chemical traces in the water! Like all prehistoric creatures made for the PaleoVentures lines, this creature is brought to life in a cute and simplified appearance.
